Well, Since the dawn of time an epic battle has raged, a battle to create and perfect the ultimate physical gaming system with a simplistic design. Nintendo has captured this with the Original Wii Sports.

The simple concept of a control that fits into the palm of your hand works perfectly with the game. The chose of varies character profiles and alias’s (Mii) to create oneself is always a laugh and the daily fitness test keeps you coming back day after day. When i first thought of the concept of the game i knew it would have to be simplistic to work and it was. The collection of small games including tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing. As i have said the games are simplified to make it enjoyable for all ages and for those looking for a realistic recreation of these modern games should look elsewhere. Varies factors that influence the sports in real life have been taken out and all that is needed is the basics. To hit a tennis ball you just swing like you were hitting the real thing. Same goes with baseball, but with boxing you use the nun chucks which is a blast. Every action is kept within your hand so there is no need for a second remote. The way the game works is quite unique and that is a key factor that keeps bring back the hordes.

Wii sports is best played amongst some friends and the multi player is a blast. Playing against a buddy in tennis will have you building up a sweet and destructing the living room, so it’s best to play in a large area away from furniture. This will optimize your fun and keep you laughing all the way. In summary Wii sports is a simple yet unique game that uses basic principles combined with laughable creations that will keep you playing long into the night.
